Worldy Games is operated by Liam Messham. When you use worldy-games.com we are the data controller for your personal information. You can reach us at info@worldy-games.com.

We collect the following when you use Worldy Games:

• Account data: your display name and email address, provided when you register.
• Game data: your predictions, picks, and scores across all games you participate in.
• Payment status: whether you hold a free or paid account. We do not store card details — payments are handled by RevenueCat and Stripe.
• Sweepstake data: if you create a sweepstake, the names and email addresses of participants you enter.
• Email preferences: your notification settings (e.g. whether you want LMS round-open alerts).

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Run the prediction games and display league tables.
• Process your payment and unlock paid games (via RevenueCat/Stripe).
• Send transactional emails you've requested (email verification, game notifications).
• Send sweepstake invitations to participants you've added.

The legal basis for processing is performance of a contract (running the games you signed up for) and, where relevant, your consent (email notifications you have opted into).

We use a single strictly-necessary cookie called __session, set by Firebase Authentication to keep you logged in. It is a session cookie and contains no personal information beyond an encrypted reference to your account.

We do not use any advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. No third-party scripts read your browsing behaviour on our site.

We share data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to run the platform:

• Google Firebase — authentication and database (Firestore). Your account and game data is stored here.
• RevenueCat & Stripe — payment processing. We receive a confirmation of payment status only; card details never reach our servers.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (verification links, notifications).
• football-data.org — live match data used to score predictions. No personal data is shared with this service.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever.

We retain your account and game data for the duration of your account. If you delete your account (via the Profile page) all your personal data — including predictions, picks, and your Firebase Auth record — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data (your display name can be updated in Profile settings).
• Request erasure of your data (use the "Delete account" option in Profile settings).
• Withdraw consent for email notifications (managed in Profile → Email preferences).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
